Oneida Lake

Lake Overview
Oneida has an abudence of both smallmouth and largemouth. Tournaments have been won with either species and combinations of them. Power fishing techniques are effective for smallmouth with topwater and the umbrella Rig being very popular. Largemouth can be caught flipping or on frogs. Despite the average winning weight being around fifteen pounds, don't feel too confident if you only have that weight. This is especially true in the fall when weights are generally higher.

Oneida is changing - gobies have been showing up more commonly. Weights have been increasing in recent seasons. Aim for around 18 pounds most of the year and upwards of 20 pounds in the late fall.
