St. Lawrence River - Massena/Waddington
Overview
The St. Lawrence River is one of the premier smallmouth bass fisheries in the world. Tournaments out of Massena and Waddington will almost certainly be won with smallmouth. Largemouth are more rare in this section of the river and the smallmouth bags are slightly lighter than closer to the lake. Still a 22 pound limit would not be a surprise
Typical smallmouth presentations are successful here (jerkbaits, dropshot and tubes).
